Professor Diamond Presents Electronic Discovery CLE

Professor Randy Diamond presented an overview of electronic discovery on July 10 for the Boone County Bar Association.  His talk focused on recent changes that bring Missouri discovery rules into closer alignment with longstanding federal rules on electronically stored information. The Missouri changes effective July 1, 2019 are here.  Additional changes effective August 28, 2019, if Governor Mike Parson signs Senate Bill 224, are here.
Professor Diamond created the law school’s electronic discovery course in 2010. He regularly teaches that course and Advanced Legal Research.  In 2020, he will teach a new course he created on Innovation and Technology in the Practice of Law.  The course will survey developments in artificial intelligence, blockchain, legal analytics, access to justice technologies, and related subjects.
