Professor Henson to Speak on the Importance of Jury Trials at Missouri Historical Society

Professor Chuck Henson will speak on “Let’s Get Legal: From Dred Scott to the Missouri Human Rights Act” at 7 pm on January 25 at the Missouri History Museum in St. Louis. He will explain the importance of the jury trial as it relates to the Missouri Human Rights Act. Through April 15, the history museum is hosting an exhibit called “#1 in Civil Rights: The African American Freedom Struggle in St. Louis.” This exhibit examines the local civil rights movement and the city’s leading role in advancing the cause of racial justice.
