Professor Thom Lambert recently addressed policymakers at both the state and federal levels on principles for sound regulation.
On October 26, Professor Lambert spoke to the general counsels and various staff members of Missouri regulatory agencies. He discussed his recent book, How to Regulate: A Guide for Policymakers and offered advice on streamlining state regulations as part of regulatory reform efforts launched by Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.
On November 3, Professor Lambert delivered the keynote lunch address at the Smart Financial Regulation Roundtable in Washington, D.C. The primary focus of the conference, which was co-sponsored by the Institute for Financial Markets and the Mercatus Center, was the regulation of financial derivatives.
