Professor Erika Lietzan was recently quoted in BuzzFeed News regarding President Donald Trump’s selection of Dr. Scott Gottlieb to be the next commissioner of the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. Dr. Gottlieb was deputy commissioner under President George W. Bush and is currently a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute.

Professor Lietzan noted that Dr. Gottlieb has a broad perspective on the full healthcare delivery and finance system, and she added that he is very informed and will be a thoughtful commissioner.
