Professor Mitchell Speaks about Collateral Consequences of Criminal Convictions

Professor David Mitchell spoke at the Texas Journal on Civil Liberties & Civil Rights Conference at the University of Texas School of Law on February 9. The focus of the conference was on the collateral consequences of criminal convictions, and brought together law students, academics, and practitioners to discuss the intersection of criminal law and civil rights issues.  Professor Mitchell delivered the keynote address titled, “Citizens Silenced: The Impact of Felon Disenfranchisement Laws on Individuals and Communities.”
