Professor Myers Presents on Trademarks and Free Speech

Professor Gary Myers participated as a speaker at the 9th Annual Free Speech/Media Law Discussion Forum at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University Faculty of Law in Budapest, Hungary. His topic and argument anticipated the Supreme Court’s new decision on trademarks and free speech in Matal v. Tam. Sponsors of the two-day conference were the Pázmány Péter Catholic University; the Luxembourg University Faculty of Law; the University of Paris I (Sorbonne) and IMODEV (France); and the University of Alabama School of Law, the Elon University School of Law, and the University of Louisville’s Louis D.
