Professor Oliveri Says Segregation Still Exists 50 Years After Passage of Fair Housing Act

Professor Rigel C. Oliveri has written about the legislative battle to pass the Fair Housing Act in 1968. She wrote a chapter in the book The Fight for Fair Housing, edited by Georgetown University policy expert Gregory D. Squires and published by Routledge. And she recently published two op-ed articles: “50 Years After Martin Luther King Jr.’s Death, America Is Still Segregated” in the Huffington Post, and “50 Years After MLK’s Death, Housing Segregation Persists” in Law360.

Oliveri also was interviewed by Jim Engster of Louisiana Public Radio on April 3.
