Professor Amy J. Schmitz will present and participate in “Making Contracts Smart – An Expert Round Table/Workshop” on February 13.
This worldwide online expert roundtable event is the first of its kind. It will include those in the law and technology sectors wishing to exploit the opportunities presented by the fast-growing phenomenon of smart contracts — both the creation of smart contracts, as well as the processes for resolving the disputes arising. Professor Schmitz was invited to present and participate due to her past work in smart contracts and blockchain dispute resolution.
The event, organized by Resolver (Training and Events) Ltd. in association with ODR Training Ltd. and Mattereum, is preliminary to a live event to take place in Central London later in the spring at which those contributing to the online event will be invited to form the core presenters.
