Professor Amy J. Schmitz will present on the “Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Task Force,” at the American Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section Conference, on April 14, 2021 (online). She is co-chair of the ABA’s ODR Task Force and co-chair of the Technology Committee of the ABA’s Section on Dispute Resolution. She has been working for over two years on a very large project seeking to establish ethical guidelines with respect to ODR and use of technology in dispute resolution. Her presentation will provide information on the work to-date and engage discussion around issues that remain open for the community to discuss. Professor Schmitz also has been working on parallel efforts with the National Center for Technology and Dispute Resolution (she is a fellow thereof).
