Professor Amy J. Schmitz recently published a chapter discussing online arbitration, “Building on OArb Attributes in Pursuit of Justice,” in Arbitration in the Digital Age (Cambridge University Press 2018). The book takes a cutting-edge look at how technology is changing arbitration practice and possibilities throughout the world. In her chapter, Professor Schmitz explores variances in arbitration law on an international level, and offers suggestions for moving arbitration online in order to make it more efficient and effective for cross-border disputes.
