Professor Amy J. Schmitz gave a presentation on “Expanding A2J with Online Courts,” as a sole speaker on March 3 for the Touro College Faculty Colloquium, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, New York (via Zoom). Professor Schmitz provided insights into the expansion of online courts, especially in the wake of COVID-19, and dissect ethical considerations. She included analysis of the type of research necessary to ensure that these projects are expanding, and not contracting, access to justice.
