Professor Trachtenberg Publishes Book Chapter About Shared Governance and Freedom of Speech

Professor Ben Trachtenberg has a chapter published in “Leading Colleges and Universities: Lessons from Higher Education Leaders,” a new book from Johns Hopkins University Press. Other contributors include former Yale President Richard Levin and Lawrence S. Bacow, newly chosen as president of Harvard University. Trachtenberg’s chapter is called “The Complexities of Shared Governance and Freedom of Speech,” and it discusses how Mizzou faculty and administration worked together to protect free speech on campus.
