The law school recently hosted an international works in progress conference in association with the American Society of International Law (ASIL) and the MU International Center. The event saw 30 participants from 19 different countries come to the law school to discuss their scholarship.
Presentations were also made by Lady Justice Joyce Aluoch of the International Criminal Court in the Hague, Paul Jean Le Cannu of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes in Washington, D.C., and Ryan Reetz and Pedro Martinez-Fraga of Bryan Cave in Miami.
The conference not only allowed law students to explore a variety of important issues in the area of international dispute resolution, it also provided an opportunity to introduce undergraduate students from the MU Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy to law school programming.
