About Alexa St. Julien
Hi! My name is Alexa St. Julien and I am a 2L at Mizzou Law. I’m from Peachtree City, Georgia, a suburb outside of Atlanta. Although I’m from the south, I’m a big Mizzou girl at heart, having attended for undergraduate and now law school.
In undergrad, I majored in Health Sciences with an interest in the practice of medicine. After various experiences within the medical field, I decided that the best way to cultivate my passion for a meaningful career would be through acquiring my JD. As a first-generation college student and the daughter of immigrants, I feel a connection to the law because it’s the tool with which we can curate a safe and just society for any citizen represented by this country.
After going to Mizzou for four years, I expected to attend law school elsewhere. After receiving several acceptance letters, I decided to stay at Mizzou Law because it offered me everything a law student could need. Columbia is the perfect college town, offering you a tranquil academic environment with fun social activities. At Mizzou Law, you don’t have to sacrifice affordability for an excellent education. Furthermore, you will be surrounded by smart, ambitious students such as yourself, but still, experience camaraderie and closeness that will last you beyond law school! Mizzou Law truly has it all!
My first time stepping foot in Missouri was to come to Mizzou which I chose on a whim! I had never toured before or seen the campus, but 5 years later I am still confident this was the school where I was meant to be! If you have any questions about Mizzou Law, please feel free to email me. I would love to chat!
