About Andrew Meyer
Hello, my name is Andrew Meyer, and I am a 3L here at Mizzou Law. I was born and raised in Washington, MO outside St. Louis.
I graduated in 2011 from Missouri University of Science & Technology with degrees in computer engineering, electrical engineering, and a minor in pre-law. I took the LSAT in 2010 and thought about enrolling in law school, but I decided it was not the right time for me.
After graduation, I worked as an electrical engineer at an engineering firm designing factory automation. For eight years, I designed and programmed robotic welding machinery for the automotive industry.
Over the years, I occasionally thought about enrolling in law school and finally wanted to give it a try.
I applied to many schools, but I narrowed it down to Mizzou and one other. However, I was sold on Mizzou as soon as I visited. The students and faculty I met were the tipping point. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, accessible, and eager to answer my questions and help.
Now that I am a student, I have zero regrets with my decision. I love the friendliness and the collaborative atmosphere of the Mizzou Law community. The faculty are amazing and are a wealth of knowledge and experience. They are always willing to help, and their doors are always open. In addition, Columbia is an amazing town.
I highly recommend Mizzou Law. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I would be willing to help in any way that I can.
