About Caleb Rutledge
If there’s anything I enjoy more than laughing at my own jokes, it’s meeting new people and getting them to laugh at my own jokes; I also enjoy telling them about Mizzou Law. More importantly, I enjoy being able to get to know people so that I can figure out ways to help them in any (reasonable) way I can. (If you end up at law school, you’re going to hear the word/concept “reasonable” more than you’d think.)
I don’t really have “hobbies” per se––you’ll also hear about the words/concept of “per se” quite a bit––but, if I do have any, they would be the following: eating meals and telling stories with my family and friends; having fun, thoughtful discussions with family and friends about endless topics; playing with cats and dogs when we can (probably because my wife and I can’t have animals in our apartment and because I’m too much of a rule-follower to try to sneak an animal in without paying a pet deposit); trying to help others understand themselves, others, and the world around them; and, lastly, and arguably most importantly, being in bed before 10:00 p.m.
Law school is hard, but so is even simply choosing if you should go to law school and choosing which law school to attend. I hope that, if you’ve been committed enough to read, or at least skim through, this brief bio, you can entrust some of your time to reach out to me so I can attempt to answer any questions you might have. I look forward to talking with you soon!
