About Jessica Hylton
My name is Jessica Hylton and I grew up on a farm in the very small town of Avilla, Missouri. I received my undergraduate degree in Finance and Banking/Real Estate at Mizzou and am thrilled to be continuing my education here for another three years! In between undergrad and law school, I worked for a short time in supply chain finance. I hope to use some of my finance background in my law career one day.
Picking a law school is an anxiety-inducing task sometimes. I personally was torn between moving to another state for law school or staying right where I already was, in Columbia, Missouri. To top it all off, a global pandemic happened right in the middle of the decision-making progress for me. While the process was stressful, every interaction I had with students and faculty at Mizzou Law eased my fears. My questions were always answered, and I felt a genuine interest to help me make the right choice from everyone I spoke with. Now that I’m here, Mizzou Law feels like home. The students and faculty really do care about helping you succeed.
If you’re checking out my profile, I’m guessing you have questions about Mizzou Law! Feel free to shoot me an email and I’ll be happy to help.
