Robert Cornejo, ’08, was a recipient of The Missouri Bar Legislative Award at the 2018 Missouri Foundation and Public Service Awards Luncheon on September 26. The Missouri Bar Legislative Award is given to Missouri legislators who have made significant contributions to legislation which affects the administration of justice and the integrity of the judiciary.
Cornejo has served as the public member and chair of the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission (LIRC) since August 2018. Prior to his appointment to the LIRC, Cornejo represented the 64th District as a state representative from 2012-2018.
