W. Dudley McCarter, ’75, received the Spurgeon Smithson Award at the 2018 Missouri Foundation and Public Service Awards Luncheon on September 26. The Spurgeon Smithson Award acknowledges significant contributions to the administration of justice.

McCarter is a partner and founding member of Behr, McCarter & Potter, P.C., in St. Louis, Mo. The firm focuses on complex civil litigation, working with national and international insurers, business owners, contractors, hospitals, physicians, municipalities, and individuals on a wide range of cases.
