Downing elected as a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers

Don Downing, ’82, an attorney at Gray, Ritter & Graham has been elected a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Fellowship in the IATL is by invitation only, and trial lawyers become fellows only after an extremely rigorous vetting process, which includes both peer and judicial review. The IATL says it seeks fellows who have achieved a career of excellence as shown by their skills in trial, and as demonstrated by their integrity and professionalism. It is a group of elite trial lawyers representing both sides of the bar: prosecutors and defense lawyers in criminal cases, and plaintiffs’ and defense counsel in civil litigation including business and personal injury cases.
