About Avery Moore

Hi, I’m Avery. I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. I received my undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and my graduate degree from Webster University in St. Louis. 

I am in the process of transitioning from active duty military. I served in the Army for over 20 years. I’ve traveled all over the world and Mizzou stands out as one of my most favorite places. I really enjoy the close-knit community here at Mizzou. Everyone has been so welcoming. That combined with the exceptional achievements of the faculty and students are two of the qualities that appealed to me and why I chose Mizzou Law. Columbia, is a medium-sized city, but it has everything one needs to feel at home.
