John C. Ayres, ’06, has been selected for the 20th class of “40 Under Forty” honorees by Ingram’s magazine in Kansas City. According to the magazine, those selected “reflect the highest levels of ethics and integrity; have shown a commitment to entrepreneurial thinking and a clear record of achievement in business; have attained executive-level managerial status and demonstrated strong leadership skills; and have earned positions with professional affiliations and associations that reflect the respect others have for their contributions.”
Ayres serves as general counsel and secretary of Aratana Therapeutics, “a pioneer in pet therapeutics focused on licensing, developing and commercializing innovative therapeutics for dogs and cats, according to its website. He is based in Aratana’s headquarters in Leawood, Kan.
