Jordan elected director of NBA Region VIII

Region VIII of the National Bar Association (NBA) has elected Dentons partner Karen Jordan, ’00, as director. This position also serves on the NBA Board of Governors.

Jordan, a member of Dentons’ Corporate practice based in the St. Louis office, advises clients on debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, investments, high-value procurements and other key corporate matters. She also represents a nonprofits on various structure, governance and compliance issues. She has spoken widely on corporate law, municipal finance and the use of public incentives to finance private development. Jordan most recently served as Region VIII deputy director.

Founded in 1925, the National Bar Association is the nation’s oldest and largest national network of predominantly African American attorneys and judges. Region VIII represents affiliate chapters and members in Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
