St. Louis-based law firm Lewis Rice has promoted University of Missouri School of Law graduate Kelly M. Gorman (JD, 2015) to member of the firm.

Gorman joined Lewis Rice as a summer associate in 2014 shortly before graduating from Mizzou Law. She practices in Lewis Rice’s Pension & Employee Benefits, Health Care and Corporate departments. Her peers have selected her for inclusion in Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch” for the last three years.

In her employee benefits practice, Gorman assists clients with qualified retirement, welfare benefit, fringe benefit and executive compensation plans. She also advises health care clients — including insurers, managed care organizations and providers — on a variety of matters such as acquisitions, joint ventures and managed care contracting. Additionally, Gorman provides counsel on acquisitions, strategic alliances, regulatory compliance, operational issues and more in her insurance practice.
