Neill Elected President of BAMSL and Joins the American College of Tax Counsel and The Bar Plan Mutual Insurance Company Board

Sara G. Neill, ’03, Capes Sokol shareholder and chair of Tax Controversy and Litigation Practice Group, has been elected president of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. BAMSL is a 145-year-old professional, voluntary bar association, with approximately 7,000 members.

Neill also has recently been elected a fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel. Membership in ACTC, a prestigious professional association established in 1981, is reserved for an elite group of tax attorneys in recognition of their exceptional reputations and contributions to the field of tax law.

And she was elected to the board of directors of The Bar Plan Mutual Insurance Company. The Bar Plan provides solo and small firms with lawyers’ professional liability insurance and other lawyer-related insurance products and services.
