Shannon Shy, ’88, recently returned to the Pentagon after two years of service in Kabul, Afghanistan as the Senior Advisor to the Chief Legal Officer, Afghanistan Ministry of Defense and one year as the Director of the Rule of Law – Defense section, Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan.  At the Pentagon, Shannon is the Senior Counsel (Land Use) in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Energy, Installations & Environment).
