Skaer, ’74, chosen for “Women of Mining” exhibit in the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum

Laura Skaer, ’74, was just chosen as one of 15 women included in the “Pioneering the Field: Women of Mining” temporary exhibit at the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum.

Skaer is a natural resources policy adviser and attorney.

Women were nominated from all over the country who have a wide variety of experience in the mining industry. The committee said he chosen women are representative of women in the mining industry because of the variety of mining sectors in which they work. The temporary exhibit is scheduled to open in April 2022.
