Walker joins Polsinelli’s Denver office

Polsinelli announced that real estate attorney Kristin M. Walker, ’06, has joined the Denver office as shareholder. Her practice focuses on real estate transactions and development projects, including economic development incentives and land use approvals. She works with clients in the acquisition, disposition, development, finance and leasing of a wide range of asset types.

“Kristin has an impressive transactional portfolio and has overseen millions of dollars’ worth of commercial real estate sales, purchases and loans, but what makes her a great fit for Polsinelli is her focus on building strong relationships with clients that help her understand their unique needs,” said Amy Kiefer Hansen, Polsinelli shareholder and real estate practice chair. “She knows that our role as advisors is to understand the most desired outcome and help simplify the legal process toward those ends.”

Walker has acted as counsel for both landlords and tenants in retail, office and manufacturing lease transactions throughout the country. Her leasing experience includes ground leases and sale-leasebacks, as well as drafting, review, and negotiation in traditional commercial lease transactions. She has represented clients in the renewable energy industry, specifically as lender’s and borrower’s counsel in wind energy financing projects.

“Polsinelli’s real estate practice is well respected and growing, which made joining the firm a very attractive opportunity,” said Walker. “As the Denver metro area continues to grow, I am excited to help serve the industry to meet the changing needs of our businesses and community.”

Recognized by Best Lawyers in America for Real Estate Law, 2018 – 2019, Walker is a member of the Missouri and Colorado Bar Associations.
