3L Jessica Peterman Wins Writing Competition on Insurance Law

Jessica Peterman, 3L, won first place in the American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel’s (ACCEC) Law School Practical Skills Writing Competition on Insurance Law Problem. The assignment was a memorandum of points and authorities in support of or in opposition to a motion for summary judgment. Submissions were evaluated on the quality of the legal arguments, the persuasiveness of the writing, and the writing quality.

The American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel, established in 2012, is comprised of preeminent coverage and extracontractual counsel in the United States and Canada, representing the interests of both insurers and policyholders.
