The Mizzou Law Student Bar Association (SBA) co-sponsored and hosted a card signing event for veterans last week. The event allowed students to write cards thanking veterans for their service. The event lasted the entire week and many members of the Mizzou Law community took time to write to our veterans and thank them.

SBA was fortunate to be able to support such an amazing event. We are so grateful for the participation of so many Mizzou Law students who took time out of their schedules to write letters and work the card stand. Madeline McKernan, SBA’s 1L representative, was inspired to hold the event when she heard about a similar letter-writing campaign on the radio.

It was a humbling experience for the Mizzou Law community can come together and say thank you to those who make it possible for us to call Hulston Hall our home, she said.
