With royalties from his two casebooks, Professor Doug Abrams created the Happiness For Health program at the MU Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Happiness For Health is a permanent endowment that provides toys, stuffed animals, games, and parties for sick and injured children at the hospital.

In the near future, Happiness for Health will upgrade the Pediatric Specialty Clinic to make it more child-friendly for the young patients and their visiting siblings. HFH has also made arrangements to purchase a trained therapy dog for the hospital.

Happiness For Health recently received valuable support for these initiatives from the Women’s Law Association, which generously donated a portion of the proceeds from its Annual Charity Auction.
