Professor Henson: A Trial is a Truth-Seeking Process

recently spoke at the 38th Annual Conference of the American Society of Trial Consultants, “Transparency in Litigation: See More Clearly Through the Looking Glass.” His presentation was on “Trial is a Truth-Seeking Process” where he proposed “that a trial is really a belief-seeking process where litigants must confront the power of jurors’ preexisting beliefs to create believable narratives.”
