Zaina Afrassiab Niles selected as winner of Law School Writing Contest for The National Law Review

Zaina Afrassiab Niles, ’20, is the winner of the 2020 Law School Writing Contest for the National Law Review. Her paper, “Are Qualified Patients Unqualified Parents?,” examines the lack of case law surrounding medical marijuana use by Missouri parents concerning child custody and placement. Niles originally wrote the paper for a Sex, Reproduction, and the Law class taught by Professor Mary Beck.
