Professor Gely presents at ABA labor and employment law meeting

Professor Rafael Gely recently served as the Scholar in Residence for the 2020 mid-winter meeting of the of the ADR in Labor & Employment Law Committee (ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law).  In that capacity, Professor Gely presented two papers: (1) The Media’s Impact on The Perceptions of Arbitration (with Timothy D. Chandler, Louisiana State University); and (2) Ethics Issues in Resolving Labor and Employment Disputes Through ADR in the Cannabis Industry (with Garrison Harms, Second Year Law Student at the University of Missouri).

Attendees at the meeting included labor and employment law advocates, government officials and third-party neutrals from around the country. The conference took place on January 24-26 in Cancun, Mexico.
