About Rebecca Postula

Hello! I was born in MacDill AFB, Florida, but I consider Mascoutah, Illinois my hometown. I graduated from McKendree University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in Mathematics. Prior to law school, I worked at the St. Louis County Circuit Court in Clayton, Missouri for a little over two years where I was a division clerk for the Honorable John F. Newsham. While there, I mostly dealt with Criminal and Traffic cases, but I also did some Associate Civil and Small Claims, mostly landlord-tenet cases.

“Mizzou Means Home” exemplifies the environment at Mizzou Law. Even though law school can be daunting and competitive, the faculty, staff, administration, and students at Mizzou Law strive to create a welcoming environment for all that is collaborative, engaging, but also rigorous. One of my priorities when considering what law school to attend was finding one where students were excited to learn the law, but also excited to build long-lasting relationships with each other professionally and personally.

I look forwarding to meeting you this year! If you have any questions about my experiences with Mizzou, Mizzou Law, or Columbia in general, please reach out.
