About Thomas Yang

Hi, I am a non-traditional 1L and I chose Mizzou Law because it is the flagship law school of Missouri. Six of the seven Missouri Supreme Court Justices are Mizzou Law graduates. Numerous governors, attorney generals, senators, and representatives are also Mizzou Law graduates. Put simply, Mizzou Law produces the next generation of Missouri and US leaders. I also chose Mizzou Law for its culture. I had great experiences with the law ambassadors, admissions team, and faculty. Admitted students’ day and orientation were both fantastic events that made me feel welcomed. We have an amazing Student Bar Association that puts on fun events like Battle of the Gavel and the Barrister’s Ball. Mizzou Law also has amazing student success resources through the Dean’s Fellow’s program, library services, and more!
