Thomas Law Offices is proud to announce that former prosecutor and deputy attorney general Kelly King has joined Thomas Law Offices. King brings nearly two decades of courtroom experience and a distinguished record of advocacy, helping victims of violent crime.
Throughout her career, King has handled a broad range of matters, including domestic violence, sexual abuse, and capital litigation, with a particular focus on protecting vulnerable victims. Before joining Thomas Law Offices, she served as Deputy Attorney General, Prosecuting Attorney, and Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. Deeply committed to securing justice for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, King has taken more than 100 felony jury trials to verdict. At Thomas Law Offices, she will continue this work by handling complex, high-stakes cases on behalf of individuals who have been harmed, bringing her courtroom experience to bear in pursuit of accountability and justice.
King’s relentless pursuit of justice and accountability has earned her statewide recognition. She has served on the Missouri Supreme Court Commission on Combatting Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence and the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services’ Victims of Crime Act Grant Committee, framing policy and resources for victims across the state of Missouri.
Over the course of her career, King has received the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services Outstanding Service to Victims Award as well as the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Award of Recognition for prosecution in dog fighting cases.
A highly accomplished trial attorney in Missouri, King continues her mission to fight for victims who have been harmed in her new role at Thomas Law Offices. King is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia Law School in 2007 and is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Kansas.
