1L Private Employer Showcase

Mizzou Law will be hosting a 1L Private Employer Showcase on Thursday, Oct. 15 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the Mizzou Law Library. 

This event is designed to specifically to introduce first-year law students to law firms and other private-sector legal employers before the 1L application season begins.  It is an opportunity for employers to connect with members of our 1L class.  Please note that this is a networking event—not a traditional job fair.  The students will not bring resumes, instead the focus will be on informal conversations that help students learn about private sector legal careers and become better prepared for applications.

Each registered employer will receive:

• A high-top table for networking with 1L students
• An eight-foot display table for signage, recruiting materials, and promotional items
• Refreshments, including beer, wine, soda, and appetizers

Registration is limited to 40 employers, so we encourage you to reserve your place as soon as possible.

Registration fees are:

• $500 for employers with 11 or more attorneys
• $250 for employers with 10 or fewer attorneys

Public Interest Expo

Mizzou Law will be hosting a Public Interest Expo on Friday, Oct. 16 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM in the Mizzou Law Library.

The Public Interest Expo is a table-talk networking event designed to introduce Mizzou Law students to the rewarding public interest and public service careers available to them. 

Please note that this is a networking event – not a traditional job fair.  Students will not distribute resumes.  Instead, the event will focus on informal conversations that allow students to learn about your organization, its work, and the career and experiential opportunities you offer.

There is no cost for Public Interest and Public Service Employers to participate.  Each registered employer will receive a table for networking and may bring signage, informational materials, or promotional items. Please note that space is limited and we encourage you to register soon:
