Mizzou Law Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic helps jump start student-run businesses

From customizable hats and sneakers to lotus-infused energy drinks, the products available from Mizzou student-run storefronts this year run the gamut. Aided in setting up their businesses by the students and faculty in the Mizzou Law Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic, several Mizzou undergraduate students have earned the opportunity to open storefronts in Missouri Student Center and beyond. Mizzou Law Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic Now Offers NIL Contract Review for Student-Athletes

Beginning this January, the Mizzou Law Entrepreneurship Clinic (ELC) will begin offering Name Image and Likeness (NIL) contract review services to all student-athletes at Mizzou and across the state of Missouri. Finding Joy in Others’ Successes

When Annelle Whitt’s husband, James Whitt, passed in November 2021, she knew she wanted to create a foundation to honor and continue her husband’s legacy of entrepreneurship and support for minority and women-owned business enterprises. “My husband really found joy in people’s successes,” Whitt recalled. “He literally spent his last days on this earth helping minority and women business enterprises.
