Mizzou Law names classroom after alumnus, former curator Marcy Graham
Mizzou leaders and alumni gathered in the Mizzou Law courtroom on Sept. 8 to honor a special alumnus who has spent decades advancing the University of Missouri, the state and the lives of his clients: Marcy Graham. As UM System President Mun Choi announced at the ceremony, former 332A Hulston Hall, one of the most-used rooms at the law school for classes, seminars and events, will now be named the Maurice B. “Marcy” Graham Classroom. Three Mizzou Law Alumni Named MAA Faculty and Alumni Award Winners
The Mizzou Alumni Association has announced the 2023 winners of the Faculty and Alumni Awards. Among the recipients, three Mizzou Law alumni have been recognized with awards, Ray Klinginsmith, ’65, John Shaw, ’77, and Benjamin Thomas, ’73. First celebrated in 1968, the Faculty and Alumni Awards highlight the contributions of exceptional individuals to the University’s growth and core mission, through their professional accomplishments, teaching and research excellence or service to the institution. Mizzou Law Celebrates Successful Partnership with the Missouri AGO
As a part of Mizzou Law’s commitment to the Missouri Method, which features experiential hands-on learning, the school hosts clinics for students interested in veterans law, entrepreneurship, and the recently announced reopening of the family violence clinic. However, due to the high demand for those limited-capacity clinics as well as an existing student interest in public sector law, not all students could enroll in the existing clinics.
