Professor Snyder presents paper at originalism conference

In February, Professor Ryan Snyder presented his paper, “Historical Practice at the Founding,” at the 2026 Originalism Works-in Progress Conference. The conference was hosted by the University of San Diego’s Center for the Study of Constitutional Originalism. Professor Snyder’s paper has been accepted for publication a forthcoming issue of the University of Chicago Law Review. A video of his presentation can be seen here, and the paper can be read here.

Professor Snyder joins Institute for Justice’s podcast

Professor Snyder presents at Federalist Society Faculty Conference

Professor Ryan Snyder presented a paper on the Young Legal Scholars Panel at the 27th Annual Federalist Society Faculty Conference in January. The presenters were all competitively selected as part of the Young Legal Scholars Paper Competition, which is limited to unpublished papers by junior faculty members who have been in tenure-track positions for no more than 10 years. Professor Snyder Publishes Blog on the Dept. of Justice deal with Eric Adams
