Mizzou Law Library Announces New Hire

Mizzou Law is excited to welcome its newest staff member to Hulston Hall as Abdulrahman Alzahrani joins the Mizzou Law Library as the reference and electronic services librarian. Abdulrahman is a recent graduate of Syracuse University where he earned dual master’s degrees in Library and Information Science and Applied Data Science. Dean JR Swanegan Honored with Missouri Lawyers Diversity and Inclusion Award

JR Swanegan, assistant dean for admissions at Mizzou Law has been named a 2023 Diversity & Inclusion Award recipient by Missouri Lawyers Media. These awards recognize attorneys, judges, firms and organizations that are significantly advancing diversity, inclusion and the dignity of all people in Missouri’s legal profession and in communities in which exceptional legal work helps ensure justice for all. Bright lights. The roar of a crowd. The sound of the marching band and the announcer echoing across the field. These are all things typically associated with Mizzou Athletics. One thing that might not come to mind? The law. While Sarah Reesman loved the nearly three decades she spent working in the Mizzou athletics department, she jumped at the opportunity to move to Mizzou Law’s Career Development Office.
