About Andrew Kasnetz

Professor Kasnetz (Andy) joined the faculty in 2022 and teaches Arbitration and Pretrial Litigation. Andy was a long-time partner at Sandberg Phoenix and now serves as the firm’s General Counsel while maintaining a trial practice. Andy began his career as a Law Clerk to the Hon. John M. Karns, Jr., Illinois Court of Appeals. Andy has been named by Best Lawyers of America for his commercial litigation work each year since 2015.

Andy’s son Zack was a 2016 graduate of Mizzou Law where he was a published member of the Law Review and served as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Trachtenberg.
