Andy is originally from a small farming community in Illinois but transplanted to Columbia in 1998 and has built a full life in the Columbia community. She graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Missouri School of Social Work in 2003 and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2005.
Andy serves as the Show Me Home Program Coordinator at the Mizzou Law Veterans Clinic. The Clinic was granted funding from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs through its Veterans Justice Program to provide legal services to eligible Veterans facing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. With over a decade of service at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, her extensive experience seamlessly aligns with the objectives of the Veterans Justice Program.
Andy resides in Columbia with her husband, Randall, two children Devin and Maggie and their sweet cat, Sadie. Most of her time is spent involved in children’s activities, including track, football, Tae Kwon Do, and dance. Her son Devin is a Junior at Rockbridge High School and has high hopes to play collegiate football, which turns out to be like having another full-time job.
