About Kandice Johnson

Professor Johnson joined the law faculty in 1992. She served as Boone County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney from 1978-81 and as Boone County Civil Counsel from 1981-83. Professor Johnson has also worked as an Assistant Public Defender and as General Counsel to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.

From 1987-92 she served as an Assistant Dean at the School of Law. Before retirement, Professor Johnson served as director of clinical programs at the School of Law. Her teaching responsibilities included Clinical Skills, Criminal Clinic, Trial Practice, and Externships.
