Melody Nashan

About Melody Nashan

Melody Nashan serves the law school as the Director of Academic Success and Bar Exam Support Programs.  Her role is to design and coordinate programs that support students in building the skills and strategies they need to succeed in law school and pass the bar exam.    

Prior to joining Mizzou Law, she served as staff counsel for the Office of the Chief Disciplinary Counsel.  She began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Ann K. Covington, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Missouri, and later practiced in Kansas City with Watson Ess Marshall & Enggas, focusing on general litigation.  She went on to concentrate her practice in employment law at Lathrop & Gage and subsequently at Armstong Teasdale. 

Nashan graduated from Mizzou where she earned both her undergraduate degree and her law degree and was a member of the Missouri Law Review.
