About Sundance Banks

Sundance Banks joined Mizzou Law in the summer of 2022 and teaches Technological Change and the Law, a course focusing on legal issues in the transition to clean energy and scaling of artificial intelligence, amongst other trends.  He has also previously taught Clean Energy Law and an In-House Practicum. Sundance serves as Senior Vice President – Legal of Sunrun Inc., the nation’s leading home solar, battery storage, and energy services company. Prior to that he served as Director, Corporate Legal at Dolby Laboratories and previously was in the corporate and securities practice of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Sundance is a 2008 graduate of Mizzou Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Missouri Law Review.
