Roles and Benefits of Partnership
The Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic actively seeks partnerships with firms, businesses and other organizations who share the clinic’s mission of educating students while providing a valuable service to individual citizens.
Clinic partners are in-kind providers of pro bono services to innovators and entrepreneurs who are clinic clients. They provide training sessions with students in specialty areas of entrepreneurial law, collaborating with the ELC on educational materials for the university, local and regional entrepreneurial communities, and are exposed to leaders in the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. Partners are regularly invited to events hosted by the Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic and the law school’s Center for Intellectual Property & Entrepreneurship.
The benefits of being a partner include the opportunity to participate in the teaching/learning process, the chance to work with and evaluate rising talent, and the opportunity to contribute in-kind services to the law school’s mission of educating and training future lawyers.
