Mizzou Law is excited to welcome its newest staff member to Hulston Hall as Abdulrahman Alzahrani joins the Mizzou Law Library as the reference and electronic services librarian.
Abdulrahman is a recent graduate of Syracuse University where he earned dual master’s degrees in Library and Information Science and Applied Data Science. He is also a graduate of Washington University, where he earned an LLM in American Law, and of Islamic University, where he earned an LLB.
“We are especially excited to see what new ideas Abdul will bring to supporting original faculty research based on his data analysis skills,” said Cindy Bassett, director of the Mizzou Law Library. “In his role as Electronic Services Librarian, Abdul will be managing on and off-campus access to the law library’s electronic resources which the students and faculty rely on for their academic scholarship.”
Before joining the University of Missouri, Abdulrahman worked at both the Syracuse University College of Law Library and Syracuse University Libraries. He will use his education and practical experience at Syracuse to provide excellent reference services to students and faculty at the Law School where he will lead a team of terrific student reference assistants.
Abdulrahman began work in the Mizzou Law library in early July.
