Class of 2027 has highest credentials ever
Incoming 1Ls at Mizzou Law have achieved something no other Mizzou Law class has ever achieved. Their credentials (GPA and LSAT scores) are the highest ever on record for an incoming Mizzou Law class. Median GPA for the class of 2027 sits at a stellar 3.75, which is the highest mark in history at Mizzou Law. Mizzou Law students finish second in national moot court competition
Mizzou Law 3Ls Isaac Keller and Macgyver “Mac” Newton finished second overall in the national Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court Competition hosted by the Federal Bar Association. Keller and Newton competed against 40 teams from top law schools across the country. In addition to their runner-up finish, Mac Newton received the “Best Oralist” honor in the final round and second-best oralist in the preliminary rounds of the competition.

Mizzou Law 3L Wins National Writing Competition
Mizzou Law 3L Isaac Keller just won the 2023 American Journal of Mediation National Dispute Resolution Writing Competition. His article, “Tables Turning: How Companies Should Respond to the “Mass Arbitration” Phenomenon and Abernathy v. DoorDash, Inc.” was selected first place by the American College of Civil Trial Mediators in a national competition. Keller won a $5,000 prize for finishing first place. Mizzou Law student wins entrepreneur competition, $15,000 in seed funding
On top of his responsibilities as a law student, parent and president of the University of Missouri Graduate Professional Council, Mizzou Law 3L Parker Owens sets aside time for one of his favorite hobbies: Lego. However, Owens does more than just play — in July, he created Parker’s Brick Builds, a business which offers custom Lego kits to retailers and online to individuals. Joshi, ’23, Wins ABA Best Advocate Award
Congratulations to 2023 graduate Hirsh Joshi, who received the American Bar Association award for Best Advocate, 5th Place from the 2022-2023 Oklahoma City Regional.
